Open MATLAB GUI Designer and select the object whose property values you want to change.
1. In the Properties Inspector TAB, locate the properties you want to change.
2. Place the cursor in the property value box and select it.
3. Type the desired special character, such as alpha or beta.
4. Click anywhere else to apply the changes.
Note that some special characters may require Unicode encoding on input. If you are using an older version of MATLAB, you may not be able to type special characters directly. You need the command window available in MATLAB to change the value of the property.
